Purim 2010 Mishloach Manot Project!
Dear members and friends of Congregation Beth Israel,
We are again embarking on our Mishloach Manot project. We continue to deliver packages only in the Malden area. In addition to package delivery within Malden, we are again offering Purim Postcards to friends and family within the Continental USA. Pricing can be found below and on the order form.
To help you prepare a list of people to whom you would like to send, we are attaching a list of schul and sisterhood members who live in the Malden area. If you have friends and family in the Malden area who are not on this list, we invite you to include their names and addresses. If you would like to send postcards, please attach a legible list of names and addresses with your order form in your return envelope. The lists should be submitted by February 5th so that we will have ample time to prepare your packages and postcards for you.
Please help us spread the word. If you live in the Malden area and receive packages from people in other areas who you think would be interested in this program, please pass this information on to them.
The price for each household to which you send a package is $6. The price for each postcard to be sent is $4. Please note that participation in our program does NOT fulfill the obligation to give Mishloach Manot on Purim. Rather, it is a means of beautifying the mitzvah and easing the work entailed in your holiday preparations.
The success of our program depends on you! The more successful we are, the more exciting new programs we will be able to continue to offer throughout the year.
