We love to make soaps--soaps with sparkles, soaps with scents, soaps with little goodies inside them that, after a lot of washing, you get to. We believe that, if you have to wash your hands anyway (and Mom says you do....), then you might as well not use boring soap! We've been making soaps since 2004 when our aunt gave us a small soap-making set. We were instantly hooked on the fun creativity of making soaps. (We also enjoyed the fact that this was an activity that we could all do together.) Since it doesn't look like a college football scholarship is in any of our futures, we decided to start our own soap-making company. "Smelly Melly's" is a company run by Melynda Schudrich who lives in New Bedford, Massachusetts. An active member at the Tifereth Israel Synagogue, she is also a special ed teacher, and provides assistance with Judaic studies, beginning Hebrew and art.
